The fastest tool for wood chopping, the axe is a versatile tool because of its medium range in all other aspects. It kills mobs in three hits, and can mine relatively fast; this tool can be useful in multiplayer because of this. currently, the five axes are wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond. Axesare a very useful combat tool.

Requires two sticks and three wood planks, cobblestone, iron ingots, gold ingots or diamonds.
